Hello August. Time To Let Go.
If you're like me, you're looking at your goals and seeing what you can accomplish before the 4th quarter. It's funny how life works. Our lives are scaled by the things we accomplish in minutes, hours, days, weeks, and months. It's nice to watch your growth. I'm sure we can agree on that. But, sometimes we can't see the forest for the trees, meaning we're prone to look at small details and not the bigger picture. This is a missed opportunity for gratitude. Instead of focusing on what went wrong, I want to focus on what went right.
I hit my goal of booking out my first quarter as a speaker and host. I gained 5k+ new supporters on Instagram. I hosted 2 successful installments of #AuthenticConvos with the help from an amazing team. I found more ways to serve, including hosting a free coaching session via Instagram Live on Tuesdays at 8 pm.
I realized, in order for me to truly maximize my opportunities before the end of the year, I would need to let go of some baggage I've been carrying. I'm ready to soar and you can't fly when you're weighed down.
Last week, I shared my weekly intention about what I was letting go. See below:
I find myself letting go of my shortcomings, my excuses, and possessions that no longer serve me. I'm stripping down to my bare essentials trying to understand my needs and not my wants. As I look around my house, I see the things I've accumulated don't mean what they use to and that's okay. I'm uncomfortable, but it's what I needed to grow and to evolve. I'm just happy to be here and grateful for the lessons learned.
